Brow furrowed behind thick lenses, worrying at their lower lip absentmindedly, Hange hammered at the keys as if their fingers couldn’t keep up with their thoughts.
They didn’t notice Moblit walking to his desk, balancing a stack of exhibition booklets in his arms.
They slammed back the typewriter carriage before typing the last few words of their review.
“You ok?” he asked with concern.
Hange finally raised their head and leaned back in their chair, stretching their sore arms above them with a sigh.
“Coffee's cold and need to pee,” they mumbled, “but at least I could meet the deadline!”

Bad Habit
Bad Habit (NSFW) Characters: Levi x Hange Word Count: 1147 words Canon Universe So, this links a couple of things together…
Fiercely, Levi yanked Hange’s leg to his heaving chest, lifting her hips up so that he could sink his weight into her. Beneath him, Hange’s head was thrown back against the pillows, his name escaping her in strangled gasp. Insatiable, Levi pushed deeper, more insistently into her. Strangely, he found he was no longer concerned about the noise they were both making.
This felt different to the last time they had been together… That had been a quick, messy, sweaty affair; half-dressed and leaning against a block of straw. Hange remembered the clumsy, desperate kisses; her hair still wet from the rain; her cold lips against Levi’s neck. There had been no time for self-consciousness, for they had only stolen a few precious moments together. Afterwards they had found it hard to look at one another; clawing pieces of hay from tangled hair, hastily buttoning shirts and fastening belts. There had been no time to think about their next meeting, or to question the events which had passed inside the stable… Before she had even acknowledged the line she and Levi had just crossed, Hange had found herself rushing back to the castle with her jacket held up over her head.
But this time, things were different. Hange hadn’t been expecting company that night. It seemed as though hours had passed as she had sat upon the lounge chair in her room, eyes glazed. She had been too exhausted to cry any more bitter tears. Hange stared at nothing; her body bowed forward so that one elbow rested upon her knee. Fretfully, she gnawed upon a bitten-down nail. One ugly thought surfaced, then another rose to take its place. Increasingly wild theories were emerging, leaping over one another; giving persistent chase around her mind.
A sharp knock had brought her back to her surroundings. Hastily rubbing her face, Hange approached the door. There was Levi, bearing a china cup and saucer. Of course he’d brought tea. Was it a pretence? She had hardly entertained the thought before glancing over his shoulder first one way, then the other up the darkened corridor.
“Did anyone see you?”
“No…” Levi raised his eyebrows. He held out the cup to her, but did not cross the threshold. Hange turned her back to the doorway. There came the sound of a click.
“You never make two. You didn’t think I’d ask you in, huh?”
Hange coughed out a tearless sigh as Levi set the tea down upon a small, round table. He offered a half-shrug. Hange returned to her chair. Hesitantly, Levi made a brief motion as though he was about to leave again. Instead, with a gentle thud, he kicked off his boots by the door and took a seat beside her.
Seemingly, Hange felt like talking after all. The conversation wound itself in convoluted loops, beginning with the deaths of Sawney and Bean, before meandering through possible theories. First, Erwin’s, which had been the outcome of the little information they had managed to gather. Soon their talk wandered through the labyrinth of Hange’s thoughts; twisting into complications which neither could explain. What would the attacker’s next move be? The expedition teams were leaving tomorrow; it could not be delayed. There were those who knew. There were those who could never know. Hange’s tea had grown cold in its cup, the colour fading from golden brown to milky grey.
“It’s not just about the titans…” Hange’s voice was hoarse. “It’s…”
She gestured uselessly, buckled under the weight of such weariness. No. It wasn’t grief for Sawney and Bean but the wasted effort. Her heart ached with it; the risk to those lives who had helped to capture the titans. And what was there to show for their preparation and sacrifice? It was all for nothing. Worse, the Scouts were bound to face the same danger all over again if they were to learn anything new.
“I know,” came Levi’s reply, filled with doubtless reassurance.
Exhausted, Hange sank against him. Her cheek rested on the collar of his jacket.
“I know it's more than that. And we’re all just as sorry for it.”
Beside her, he was real and solid and warm. For a moment, the horror of the situation wasn’t entirely insurmountable. They would find the perpetrator, one way or another. Even if it wouldn’t bring the test subjects back. Even if it meant putting even more lives at risk… alas, that was the Scouts’ burden to bear. Hange shifted slightly against him. Her forehead rested against Levi’s chin. She could feel the rise and fall of his chest. As his fingers stroked her hair back from her face, Hange released her breath slowly. Levi had remained still then. Hange turned her head towards him. He did not move away. Then she gently brushed her lips against his.
Everything had happened quickly after that, like a series of choreographed movements. They were learning each other’s patterns, rhythms, inclinations, as though by instinct. Their bodies were no longer strangers to one another. It was suddenly easy to undress each other; safe to lose themselves completely. It was becoming a habit.
Now Hange’s head was pressed into the pillows scattered upon her bed. Her legs were draped over Levi’s shoulders, so slick with sweat that they were slipping out of place. Levi’s hand clutched her ankle firmly. Hange was lost to an all-engrossing heat; one that was building so sharply, so agonisingly close. She hardly noticed when Levi’s fingers threaded through her own, gripping her hands as his thrusts became more desperate.
Her whole body rocked on a wave of ecstasy. As the sensation crested to its peak, Hange choked out a few incoherent words between her sobs. Heat flared within her. Every muscle in her body clenched. And then, the sting of pleasure was ebbing away.
Levi’s movements were slowing. His eyes were closed; brow slightly furrowed in concentration; his cheeks flushed. Dark hair stood up, uncharacteristically unruly. Hange’s chest pulled tight. Her hands slid up Levi’s back and into his dishevelled hair. Breathless words left her in a sigh. Levi’s body tensed. He drew back enough to look down at where she lay beneath him. Her eyes were half-closed; face aglow.
She knew he would not answer. Not until he was sure of what he had heard. Both shared the same secret but were too afraid to reveal it.
Hange took Levi’s warm face in her hands. Their lips met silently, softly. She held him there and Levi showed no inclination to draw himself away, or to continue moving against her.  He was still inside her; stomachs pressed together; skin warming one another, as he kissed her again. Their bodies moulded naturally, as though they were made for only this. As though they could remain this way for the rest of their days.   ... Levi x Reader version is here.

Hange’s fury is a raging river, deafening and feral.
It tears and snatches away everything in its path, leaving only jagged remains behind. She shouts, loud, dripping with emotion. Her eyes stir with restless waves.
People say her anger is fire, it burns.
But she disagrees. She’s been burnt before, she knows. That’s not how she names her rage. To her, it’s akin to the river. The kind that roars and drowns out every other thought, every other noise. The kind that she used to visit when just a child and stand too near its crumbling edge, never heeding her mother’s warnings, until one day she slipped. The river carried her away, and she found herself horribly helpless against the lapping currents, useless limbs, throat scorching with drenched screams.
That’s what her anger is. It tears at her, renders her helpless while it brews destruction around her. And just like that river, it smashes down everything — everyone in its way. Sometimes she’s afraid of how she can get. Afraid of what it may do to people close to her.
But Levi’s different.
The splashing waves don't pull him under, they don’t knock him off his feet. He stands against her storm, unscathed. He holds the river in his hands — not gently, it’s much too wild for that — and silences the howls. He’s the only one who can do that.
And it feels like her river rolls into the ocean when he does so. It settles down with the salty currents and moves lazily once more.
So if Hange’s fury is the raging river.
Then Levi’s calm is the undisturbed ocean which catches her.

Omg!! Thank you so much for sharing your art with us <3 I would like to request Levihan, prompt 05 <3 thank you beautiful human
Hi anon! Sorry for the wait but it is here! First, let me apologize that it has been a year since I wrote Levihan, so the characters may be oc. I tried to capture how they were when I was into Levihan tho. I hope you like it!
Prompt 05.  I’m a pro-athlete at a press conference and I make a comment to my buddy about you because I forgot my mic was on
Note: Modern au (Winter Olympics), fluff, potential for something more, fem Hange
Word count: 1k
Warning: not beta read, possible OC characters, and idk much about the Olympics besides what is on TV/TikTok
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The infamous Ackerman siblings. Levi and Mikasa Ackerman, also known as the Monster Siblings, due to their "awakened" abilities the moment their blades touch the ice.
Two of the greatest Olympic skaters in this generation with a gold medal in ice dancing during their debut year. They even had more medals under their belt from other events.
Levi Ackerman was used to the attention. The lights and cameras took some getting used to at first. Now, seven years later, Levi could care less about them before their third Winter Olympics.
The same applied to his little sister, Mikasa, who typically kept a stoic face on camera except when she won. Of course, this meant the world had nothing better to do than get into the sibling's business. Especially now, after their recent win and the gold medals to prove it is shining around their necks.
"Question for Levi, when are you thinking about retiring?"
Levi's face remained stoic, but he wanted to groan in annoyance. Luckily, for Mikasa's sake, he refrained from it. "Not thinking about it. Next question."
The reporter looked away and turned to Mikasa to address it. Mikasa smiled before rambling on about whatever her answer was. Levi leaned back and internally thanked his sister before letting his eyes wander through the crowd.
There was a tall guy with a horse-like face, another guy with the ugliest bowl cut Levi had ever seen, and a woman eating a plain potato.
Seriously, who let her in her? Levi grimaced as the crumbs fell on the floor. He mentally made a note to increase security for the next press conference and clean that up later. Levi's eyes wandered some more as Mikasa continued about today's performance.
There was a very tall guy with blond hair covering his eyes, a woman with short banana-blonde hair, and another woman. who had-
"The most shittiest glasses I have ever seen."
Many eyes turned to face Levi, including the woman who had the supposed "shitty glasses." His eyes widened slightly as the woman's eyes met his. The woman was not the only person wearing glasses, but her oval-shaped glasses stood out to him for some reason. They were due for a cleaning, too, and Levi had to stop himself from wiping it with his handkerchief. Instead, Levi mentally prepared herself to face the stranger's wrath but was met by the woman grinning wildly. Meanwhile, Mikasa turned to see who her brother was looking at and the woman, connecting two and two together. She cleared her throat and spoke into the mic.
"What my brother means is that everyone here has nice glasses. He has a shitty way of expressing it." She said with a closed-eyed smile. Despite his sister not looking angry, Levi could sense it from where he sat.
Levi sighed and took a sip of his earl grey tea nearby.
This was going to be a long day.
---
Hange scribbled down her notes gleefully as she reflected on her day. First, her puppies, Sawney and Bean, were the most absolute angels she had ever met. Then she met up with her co-workers to head to the Olympics. Finally, she was noticed by Levi Ackerman. The most famous ice skater of the century! Sure, she was noticed in an abnormal way, but Hange did not mind. Her favorite celebrity acknowledged her, and it could not get any better than that.
"We are going to head out, Hange," Erwin said, and Hange smiled.
"I'm just finishing up, so you can go ahead. See you tomorrow!"
"See you tomorrow!" Nanaba replied, and Mike nodded before leaving.
The center hall was silent, minus a few voices around here and there. Hange was on her last note when she heard footsteps heading closer in her direction.
"Oi, Shitty Glasses."
Hange could not hide her smile, practically ignoring his insult. "Levi! Nice to meet you! My name is Hange. Do you need something?"
Levi shuffled around awkwardly like he was contemplating what to say. "I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I should not have said that for the cameras to hear."
Hange laughed loudly. "It's alright. I was not offended. I was happy that you acknowledged me, though. You are one of my favorite athletes in the Games."
Levi's mouth curled up slightly. "Thanks. I appreciate that. Just don't let my sister know, or else she might do something about it."
Hange moved her fingers along her mouth and threw the imaginary zipper to the ground. "Don't worry, that will be safe with me."
"Thanks. There is something I want to do before I head back to the Village."
"What's that?"
Levi held his hand out. "Hand me your glasses."
"Okay…" Hange replied in confusion as she fulfilled Levi's request. She watched Levi pull a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wipe it along her lenses. Hange heard rumors of Levi being a clean freak, but seeing it in person amazed her. Levi meticulously cleaned and often held it to the light to ensure no dust remained. He returned the glasses back to her once he was satisfied.
"Here. Make sure you maintain it, or else you won't be able to see."
"Thanks, Levi." Hange placed the glasses back on her, and her eyes widened in amazement. "Woah! Everything looks so much clearer now! It's like those commercials!"
Levi's smile grew a millimeter bigger. "Don't sing the song. But I have a question to ask before I go."
"Shoot."
"I have a free skate coming up. You can watch it if you want as an apology for earlier. I can even set you up with seats that are close by. You will just be sitting with my sister."
Hange grinned from ear to ear. "YES, YES, I WILL DO THAT!"
"Good." Levi dug inside his pocket again and handed Hange a slip of paper. "Here is my number. Just text me later, and I can send you the details."
Hange grabbed the paper and stuffed it in her purse. "Thanks, Levi." She glanced at her watch and shot Levi an apologetic look. "I need to get home to check on my pups. See you later, Levi!" Hange yelled as she ran off and waved goodbye.
Levi only waved back as he watched her move farther away, his heart beating a mile a minute for some reason. "See you later, Hange."

In another universe, it was only one more day until the Battle of Heaven and Earth. It didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't even a full day to begin with. But Levi valued those ten hours as much as he did the broken pieces of his mother's teacup.
In another universe Hange warded off the Rumbling successfully and clung onto the side of the airship, cape and hair aflame but she was alive.
Levi knew she wouldn't last long, just as he knew she wouldn't stand by and wait to die. She planned out their final attack, coughing mid-sentence from the smog caught in her lungs, her legs weak, hunching over.
He found her sitting at the wall later, head lolling like she was drifting off.
"Hange."
She smiled at him. "What a bother, huh?" as though the Rumbling was but a mere inconvenience. Like they were back years ago, when the biggest damage a titan could cause her was to break free from its bonds and run free.
Wasn't that what was happening after all?
"Yes. What a bother."
Hange leaned her head on his shoulder. His bandaged hand lay so close to his own. She'd saved him from the river and he could do nothing for her in return.
"Don't fight tomorrow. You're in no shape," he tried.
Surprisingly, she agreed. "Hmm. You're right. But you should sit back too, you're in a worse condition than me. We could both stand back and watch as the kids fight."
Levi pursed his lips. Point taken. "I can't."
"Then you know that neither can I."
Hange coughed, and that terrible sound filled the silence. She brought her hand closer to his, touched the side of his palm. Bandage on bandage, neither felt anything, but still Levi's heart still skipped a beat. He didn't know if it was love or longing or stubbornness to hold onto her. But it didn't matter because Hange's soul was next to his, her heart beat in tandem to his own.
"I'll be happy when it's over," she murmured.
"I doubt you will in a world without titans."
Hange hummed in agreement. "They never loved me back, did they?"
Levi paused. Her words mirrored his own from Odiha. Another love towards the titans gone unrequited, shitty-glasses? She hadn't answered then. She is bringing it up now, hinting she understood.
He turned to meet her gaze and he encountered a ghost of her past lively smile. How much he'd missed it. It was a promise to let it bloom again tomorrow. But they didn't know if there would even be a tomorrow, so they savoured today. With Levi's head on her shoulder this time, drifting off next to her for what they both knew was the last time.
He found her after the Battle. His fallen comrades stood before him, and Hange wasn't one of them, nor was she quite in his arms as he cradled her broken body. She was somewhere between them and him, her soul stuck between her lips as she struggled to keep it in for one final question.
"Did we win?"
Hange suddenly felt so unbelievably heavy in his arms. "We did," he said.
Another smile. "That's good." Her hand rose, the back of her palm found his cheek.
And then she was gone.
If Levi could see every timeline and universe, he'd know that her presence in the Battle made hardly any change. Those who were to die perished, and those who were to survive lived on. The Rumbling still happened. The Scouts still won.
It might not have mattered for the world, but it mattered for him.
"Rest now"
She joined the rows upon rows of Scouts, at the forefront of his mind, just before their forms dissolved into smoke.

He couldn't believe he had agreed to this.
Despite the thick coat and the wool scarf he was bundled up in, he was chilled to the bone. They'd been standing in the cold for half an hour now, in front of what their little town's bigwigs had pompously called a winter wonderland. Actually that was nothing more than a good old funfair festooned with twinkle lights here and there.
His eyes wandered over the ice rink that flanked the funfair without really seeing it, barely listening to Hange's ramblings.
Not only had they literally dragged him here, but they'd been annoyingly gushing about the not-so-huge decorated tree haphazardly set next to the ticket booth or the trinkets they would find to give to their friends for Christmas, ever since they'd joined the line.
"Come on, Grumpy Pants, it's gonna be fun!" Hange's loud voice snapped him out of his daydream.
They rummaged through their tote bag to finally pull out a small tube of lip balm with a proud grin and started to apply it roughly on their chapped lips.
"Oi Four-Eyes, be careful! You’re smearing your face with that colored shit."
Levi drew a pristine handkerchief out of his pocket and stepped closer.
Before Hange could protest, he cupped their chin, his fingers firm but gentle as he tilted their face towards him.
"Tch, y’ even stained your teeth, dumbass," he muttered, thoroughly swiping their mouth clean.
"Just…let me do it for you," he added once he was satisfied. "And stop squirming."
Hange repressed a giggle and handed him the chapstick.
The moment he brushed it over their lips, his heart skipped a beat. The soft tint of the balm brought out the natural curve and plump of their mouth, and his gaze lingered there a moment longer than necessary.
"There. Done." His voice came out gruffer than intended.
He cleared his throat and unwittingly shoved the tube in his coat pocket.
Hange snuck their arm around his and smirked.
"Thanks, Levi. Didn’t know you had such a delicate touch."
"Shut up, Four-Eyes," he growled, quickly looking away as the faintest blush dusted his cheeks.
He struggled to repress the sudden urge to do something impulsive. Instead, he scowled and adjusted his scarf, trying to get rid of the troubling thought.
⋆⁺₊❅.
For some reason, as much as he wanted to be anywhere else but around those loud kids and those cheesy couples, he indulged Hange's every whim tonight.
Wandering from stall to stall in the tiny Christmas market, they pointed out glittering knick-knacks or they marveled at handcrafted trinkets.
"Should I buy these for Nanaba? She always complains about her cold feet," they asked, holding up the ugliest pair of furry slippers known to man.
"Yeah sure," he mumbled, not really looking at them.
In fact, his gaze was fixed elsewhere, on the faint shimmer of the balm still clinging to their lips. It caught the light with every smile, drawing his attention in a way that made him want to scold himself.
⋆⁺₊❅.
Hange begged him to try his luck as soon as they reached the shooting gallery.
"Come on, Levi! Those giant plushies are so cool! Oh, I want one Shorty! Please, please, please, please…!"
"Fine," he finally gave in, rolling his eyes.
He unbuttoned his coat and picked up a rifle. Although Hange's enthusiastic cheers made it harder to keep his composure, he lined up the shots with precision, his sharp gaze focused on the targets.
In less than no time, he handed Hange the largest prize, the massive titan-shaped plushie they wished for and they let out a delighted laugh.
"I can’t believe it! Look at that beauty!"
Levi shrugged, holding the plushie awkwardly at arm's length.
"You wanted it. Now you’ve got it."
Hange grabbed the stuffed titan, hugging it like it was the best gift they'd ever received.
"You're the best of best friends, Shorty! I’m gonna keep it forever."
He looked away to avoid their gaze and clicked his tongue.
"Whatever, Four-Eyes."
They wandered from stall to stall, Hange leaning closer to chat or show him something. Levi caught another glimpse of their lips, the subtle sheen of the balm still annoyingly captivating.
He cleared his throat and forced himself to look at the overpriced articles instead.
"Are you alright?" Hange asked, noticing his absent expression.
"Mmm," Levi grunted, shoving his hands into his coat pockets.
But the truth was, he didn’t know how much longer he could keep pretending not to be drawn to those pretty lips.
⋆⁺₊❅.
"Let's ride the Ferris wheel next!" Hange yelled a bit too close to his ear, clutching the stuffed toy as if it was going to run away.
Levi frowned at the spinning wheel towering over them and sighed, muttering something about how the "giant crap" would not fit "in the damn cart". But he followed them to the line anyway.
When their turn came, Hange squeezed into the seat, the plushie crammed awkwardly between them.
"Fucking hell, it's huge!" Levi grumbled, glaring at the titan.
"Don't be jealous," Hange teased, clinging to the plushie. "It'll keep us warm!"
Levi gave them a flat look but didn't argue, settling stiffly into his corner of the cart.
The wheel began to move, the festive lights of the winter wonderland spreading out below them, twinkling in the night. Hange leaned forward to admire the sight, their lips parting in a soft gasp.
"The view is beautiful," they whispered, but Levi barely heard them.
His eyes had flicked to their lips again, where the faint tint from the balm still lingered. He swallowed hard, cursing the ridiculous plushie jammed between them that made it impossible to lean closer.
"You’re awfully quiet," Hange said, turning to him with a curious look.
"Just... taking it in," Levi muttered, turning his gaze on the view before him.
Hange smiled when he cast a glance at them, and his fingers twitched, the urge to reach out and touch their hand growing unbearable. But every time he shifted, the plushie’s bulk squished him back into place.
"Stupid ragdoll," he muttered under his breath, glaring once again at the toy.
Hange laughed, oblivious to his frustration. "I think it's cute. Don't you?"
His eyes narrowed. "Cute isn't the word I'd use to describe it."
However, when the Ferris wheel finally crested the top, staring at Hange's beaming profile, he couldn't deny that the moment was perfect.
If only the giant plushie wasn't standing in the way.
⋆⁺₊❅.
Straight after the Ferris wheel, Hange decided they were starving and led him to the food stalls, where all sorts of greasy snacks were displayed.
"Smells amazing!" Hange marveled but Levi wrinkled his nose, slightly disgusted by the oily scent of fried food and the overly sweet whiffs of churros.
They ordered a hot dog with extra mustard and extra ketchup and a mountain of fries on the side. Levi opted for a small portion of roasted chestnuts, staring at Hange's full hands with obvious disapproval.
Looking for a semblance of warmth in this biting cold, they found a spot to sit near a small bonfire. Hange immediately dug in their hot dog like they hadn’t eaten in days while Levi skillfully peeled his chestnuts, keeping an eye on what he knew was a forthcoming disaster.
"Do you always eat like a slob?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as ketchup smeared across Hange’s cheek.
Hange laughed, unfazed. "It’s part of the experience, Shorty! Greasy-messy-finger-food, it's all part of the fun!"
Levi sighed and reached into his coat pocket for his handkerchief.
"You’re fucking hopeless, Four-Eyes."
He leaned over, swiping the sauce from their cheek with a quick gesture. He meant to pull back immediately, but his eyes caught on their lips again, slightly parted and now glistening with a bit of grease. His gaze lingered on them again, his hand pausing mid-air.
"Levi?" Hange called, a hint of concern in their soft voice.
He blinked, quickly regaining composure.
"You’d better be careful before you spill more of that shit, idiot."
Hange grinned, clearly unfazed by his sudden sharpness.
"You’re such a clean freak, I don’t even know how I still can put up with you," they teased, popping a fry into their mouth.
Levi cocked an eyebrow, then decided to let it slide and to focus on his chestnuts.
But no matter how hard he tried, his thoughts kept coming back to their tantalizing lips.
⋆⁺₊❅.
Levi was putting the soiled wrappings in the trash when Hange clapped their hands with excitement as they spotted a photo booth nestled between the stalls.
"Levi, let's take pictures!"
Levi narrowed his eyes. "What for?"
"For posterity of course, silly!" Hange replied.
They grabbed his wrist and dragged him through the crowd to the booth.
"Come on, Levi! Cute photos! Just us and Sawney."
"Sawney? This pile of rags, you mean? Lucky me," Levi muttered, letting Hange lead him nonetheless.
Before stepping inside the booth, he fished the lip balm from his pocket.
"Hold still," he said in a commanding tone.
Hange blinked, confused. "What the hell are you doing?"
"You won't ruin the pictures with your cracked lips," Levi grumbled.
Hange smirked. "Aw, how cute and thoughtful!"
They leaned closer.
"You’re kind, Levi."
Levi ignored them, focusing on applying the balm. For the umpteenth time tonight, he found his eyes lingering on their lips. The light tint complemented their smile and made his heart beat faster.
"There, weirdo. Passable now I guess."
He shoved the balm back into his pocket and gestured toward the booth. "Now get in."
As soon as they sat down, Hange started making goofy faces, sticking out their tongue or crossing their eyes. Levi sighed, but the corners of his mouth slightly twitched up at their antics.
"Levi, come on, do something funny!" Hange urged, nudging him with their elbow.
Instead, he found himself just staring at them, realizing how beautiful they actually were.
"What’s that look for?" Hange asked, a bit surprised by his unusual demeanor.
Before he could overthink it, Levi leaned forward and kissed them. It was soft, just his lips brushing against theirs as if testing the waters.
Hange froze, wide-eyed and Levi finally pulled back, his expression unreadable as if nothing had happened.
"Just wanted to taste your chapstick," he said deadpan. But his ears were faintly pink.
Hange blinked a few times, then let out a flustered laugh. "Oh, is that so?"
They leaned closer, their cheeks red. "Well... wanna taste it again?"
Levi smirked, slowly closing the small distance between them.
"Guess I have no choice."

Smut Scribbles 21: “Don’t hold back.”
Meeting in Secret (NSFW) Characters: Levi x Hange Word Count: 367 words
Hands splayed, palms slipping against the wooden desktop, Hange struggled to hold themself up. Their legs trembled as Levi’s urgent movements knocked the desk against the wall. The small room was filled with quiet gasps and the slap of skin. Levi’s grip upon their hips tightened; an agonised sound escaped him, breath scorching the air behind them.
“Hah–  Ah, don’t–  Don’t hold back-” Hange fought for air.
The desk lurched into the wall. Sounds came louder; the smack of flesh; half-stifled moans. Levi’s fingers were buried deep enough to leave blemishes upon Hange’s thighs. A bead of sweat rolled along his neck and dripped down onto their bare back. Below, Hange was bowed beneath him; Levi leaned into them, his fingers threaded through theirs, desperate, clutching. As his thrusts became faster he clung to them, his grip tight enough to fracture bone.
“Levi– Ah, Levi–”
There wasn’t enough time to savour each other. There wasn’t time to relish the slow, delicious cresting of pleasure as it broke over them. It wouldn’t be long before others noticed their absence and asked questions. Sex had to be quick, sordid, with trousers slung unceremoniously around ankles in case either of them heard approaching voices. Releasing a hand, Levi brought the pad of his thumb to their clit and stroked in time with his motions.
A wave of heat rolled over Hange. Their head fell backwards as they cried out. Knuckles whitening over Levi’s hand, their nails carved into the desk’s surface. Every muscle seized; their legs stiffened between his own. Suddenly, Levi felt them clench around him; a blistering heat. His breath was ripped from his lungs as he came unannounced. Levi was rigid, body rooted to the spot; his hand fused to theirs, skin melted against their own. He could not move, could not utter a word as he felt the rush of release. And then, Levi slumped forward, his chest slick against Hange’s back. His frantic heart thudded its drumbeat along Hange’s spine.
“Shit…” Hange managed. Levi’s arms were wrapped around their waist, his hair damp and matted against their neck. Hot breath tickled their ear.
Hange smiled, aglow, as tangled, sweat-soaked hair swept across their face. Half-turning towards him, they felt Levi’s nose graze their cheek as he lowered himself to their mouth. ... Thanks, Anon! Only had time for a quickie this week so I hope this'll satisfy!

What if
Armin visits Levi post war, smiling and warm. Seeing him feels good, they hadn't realised how much they one another. It's good to know he's alive.
Annie stands a little farther, a child tugs at her skirts, squirmish and round-faced and short-legged. Levi squints to take a better look at him but he's too far away.
Another is perched in her father's arms, a hand in her mouth in all seriousness. Armin's curious sparkle shines in her eyes, behind a curved nose.
Levi's heart clenches in a cruel second-long recognition, a mere shade running across his eyes that dissolves in seconds. The odd familiarity of her caught him off guard.
It's enough for Armin's sharp eye to notice.
"That's Zoë," he says with a smile and lowers her to the ground.
Levi's throat clogs. Zoë.
She looks so much like Hange.
So her name won't be remembered as just ink on paper, a soulless list of her accomplishments as Commander. She'll be remembered for her bright eyes and grabby hands, her laughter and the lightness of her step. Even if only by a handful of people.
The wind rustles the laurels strewn around his garden. That must mean she's smiling, wherever she is.
"Hello, Zoë," Levi greets in earnest, and the girl grins.

they look like they're happily married
and have argued, and Hange smirks at him, because she's said something to provoke him again, it's how it always goes. Levi holds her gaze, because there she goes again, pushing his buttons, and he can't let her see.
"you can bring a dog here"
"really?"
"yes. over my dead body"
she pouts, but her eye just lights up at the challenge. "it's just for a week, Levi, until she finds a home"
"i don't care if it is for half a day. they're dirty and they stink"
"you say that about me as well, what's so different? i'll help you clean the house if she messes it up"
"no you won't"
Hange's grip on his shoulders is firm, and she twists him towards her again when he attempts to walk away.
"i know you love dogs and kids, and about anything that can listen to you. you're a softie"
"piss off"
Hange's smile only widens. "you are"
"you've messed up my house and my life"
"i know you still love me"
Levi's gaze darts to her lips. a wave of tenderness washes over him, and it's never failed to leave him breathless ever since he realised he loved her. damn her.
when they melt into each other, Hange smiles against his mouth.
"does that mean you'll let Sawney stay?"
"you'll walk her. and bathe her, and make sure she won't bite the furniture"
Hange throws her arms around him and traps him in a hug. they end up tumbling onto the floor, and Hange doesn't let him get up, because of her dumb habit to wrestle with him when she's excited. Levi flicks her nose and dodges the knee dangerously close to his ribs. let the dirty dog stay. he's happy if she is.

An Umbrella, Shared
For @seamsterspell
Hope you like your gift!
Thank you @levihanweek and @alemanriq for putting this event together!
If there's anything Levi Ackerman hates more than rain, is rain without him having an umbrella to cover himself up from it.
"Hey!", a voice calls him from the left. Hanji Zoe, — the one who sat next to him during science class and wouldn't shut up, — he figures. They wear neon yellow rainboots and a frog-stamped raincoat to match. Droplets have damped their short braids like a cascade that weights them down. Their big, round glasses all fogged up and crooked.
They look ridiculous.
Lucky for him, though, they do carry an umbrella out with them.
"Levi Ackerman, right?", they offer. A wide, wide smile brightens up their features. "Wanna walk up to the school entrance?"
To that, he can't really say no.
"'Kay."
"I'm Hanji, by the way.", they extend a hand out to him, the other holding the umbrella out for the both of them.
Levi looks at them, then at the hand. He notices, they hadn't washed it before or after they played with the class’s hamster, — and so, he decides, he better not take it.
"Yeah, I know.", he tells them, instead.
Hanji shrugs. Seems to them, Levi isn't the talkative type, much. Still, they think, then, they better be the one to fill in the silence.
"So, what's your middle name?", they ask. It's not a normal question to come up with, especially when it comes to someone you've known for an hour or so. Hanji Zoe, however, has never been one to be exactly normal, anyways.
Levi stares at them for a moment. All of a sudden, he realizes, how tiny and constricted the space under the umbrella is. How confined him and Hanji are to this one shared patch of heaven. Up from where he stands, he can see the freckles that dot over their nose, almost like they're stardust. Can sense their warm, batted breath under the cool storm.
"Sebastian.", he says, then, plain and simple. He's aware, telling a middle name to a stranger is not a normal thing to do. Still, he does so, either way— as easy as it is to breathe. He's never known of normal things, much, after all.
"Sebastian!", Hanji tries it out, almost like they're testing how the sounds taste in their mouth. They like the ring of it, — Levi Sebastian Ackerman. It's elegant, fancy, expensive. Like the letters could dance. They also happen to like that he’s been frank, sincere. That he didn’t run away from them at the question, like most other boys usually tend to do.
“Yeah”, he bites the inside of his cheek. They have been walking together, slow-paced and steady, — so glued to one another, their arms can almost brush. So close, dry under the umbrella, his sneakers meet their rain-boots. “That’s what I said.”
Hanji smiles again. Levi has no idea what’s so funny, but he’s too shy to ask. He’s too shy to ask many other things, as well. Like how it is that they’re so into frogs, or what’s their favourite ice-cream flavor. He can picture it being chocolate-chip-mint, for some reason. Their middle name being Amber, or Fionna, or Grace.
“Do you live nearby?”, they go, staring back at him. Their one tooth is kinked-up when they speak. The colors of the umbrella, — all shades of the rainbow— contour the sharpness in their features. They are pretty when lit up like this, — neon bright effervescent. Cute, even. For a single moment, Levi wonders, how must they like their tea. If maybe they’d sit down with him by the treehouse and play pretend.
“In Trost district.”, he says, at last, and Hanji’s eyes crinkle when they laugh.
“Oh!”, they spin, now walking backwards, facing him. Levi’s afraid they might trip, or break a leg, or fall. He’s never been one to be spontaneous like that. “Coincidence, much? I live there too!”
He nods, his lips twitching just the slightest of bits. He can now see Hanji up in better detail. Appreciate each corner and scrap that there’s to them. There are specs of golden that float and dapple in their irises. Their face framed by a lonely red pimple.
He wants to get to know them better, after all. Take them to his treehouse and make them tea. Mom would be happy at that, sure enough. Ever since they moved to town, he hasn’t made a single friend. Not even one. Everyone ran away from him, his crazy questions or harsh words.
“I can walk you home...”, they offer once again, as they signal up to the umbrella. “The rain’s quite daunting right now. You wouldn’t wanna catch a cold or any of that…”
To that, he can't really say no.
“’Kay”
Hanji hums. They have already reached the school’s entrance, and it seems, they’re the only two people left in there. A few bicycles pile-up by the bike-rack, dazzling wet from the downpour. The world sits quiet, as if it’s stirring in slow motion.
“Let’s go, then?”, they take a step forward. They’re all too joyful for such bleak weather. Levi notices, when they look back at him, that they’re smiling once more.
“Let’s go.”, he says. The air smells of jasmines, — the first few sings of spring after the taxing winter. He finds, that he likes it being here, — both him and Hanji sheltered from the winds. They have nothing in common but the colored-parch of fabric that lays upon their heads. An umbrella, shared, that has brought them together, — and that could be the start of something. A flower blooming, a leap of faith.
“What street is it?”, they ask him; their pupils big beneath the storm.
He smiles, too, for the first time in what seems like forever.
“I live downtown, there in Maria Ave.”
Maybe rainy days aren’t so bad, after all.

Pairing Levi Ackerman x Hange Zoë
Setting Modern AU / Established relationship / Non-binary AFAB Hange / Kissing
Wordcount 100 words
A/N Not beta or proof read / English is not my usual language
Read Previous: Day 14 / Next: Day 16
Tumblr media
Hange’s breath hitches as Levi deepens the kiss, his hands caressing their back with reverence, as if they were the most precious thing in his world.
The warmth of his touch, the heat of his body pressing into theirs - it’s overwhelming.
His kiss is urgent. Hungry.
Yet, the tenderness in the way his lips claim theirs makes their heart race.
In that moment, they feel incredibly fortunate to have him, to be here with him, to be the one who makes him lose control like this.
Because only Levi can make them feel so desired, so needed.
So loved.

gosh, i'm blushing as crazy as i write this, but for your smut prompts, maybe.... 17 or 11.....
Smut Scribbles 11. “Louder. Let me hear you.” 17. “Hands behind your back.” (Tch. So greedy 😉 )
Dangerous Game (NSFW) Characters: Levi x Hange Word Count: 992 words It hadn’t happened the way that Levi had repeatedly dreamed it. In his fantasies he had always imagined his body lying beneath Hange’s, their thighs wrapped around his waist. Countless times he had conjured the sensation of their mouth on his neck; nails scraping his torso whilst, in reality, his own chest rose and fell in rapid movements. Sweat-soaked sheets had tangled about Levi’s legs as he gripped himself, convinced that his own touch was theirs; that his closed fist was actually the heat of them enfolded around him. With complete abandon his hips had pressed forward into his hand, strokes quickening as he relished the surge of pleasure which coursed through him.
A bed would have been far safer; concealed behind locked doors and spacious enough for the two of them to sprawl upon, limbs entangled. Not here, with Levi’s hands splayed against cold brick, back arched against Hange’s chest. There was hardly enough space to stand upright, what with the boxes, bottles and cleaning rags scattered all around them. A cluster of brooms stood in the corner; one misplaced elbow would send the entire array clattering down. Even Levi’s feet were planted on either side of a stack of buckets. In the corridor beyond, the sound of encroaching footsteps echoed; an unnerving reminder that several thin planks of wood nailed together were all that stood between them and the humiliation of exposure.
And yet, all of Levi’s misgivings vanished as Hange’s breath lifted the hairs on the back of his neck. Like electricity, a shiver rippled down his spine, setting every nerve alight. Hange’s lips met his ear.
“Stay just like that…”
Teeth grazed his earlobe. There came a jingle as Levi’s belt buckle knocked into the wall. Then Hange’s hand slipped beneath the waistband of his pants. The sudden flood of heat was almost unbearable. Sweat broke out over Levi’s skin; his nerves humming. Every fibre of his being was seeking - begging - for them to tighten their grip. Even as Hange obliged, curling their fingers around his cock, Levi willed them to tease their hand downwards. He willed them not to let go. One second parted from his body would be enough to drive him to madness. Levi’s hips rolled forward of their own accord, helpless to the languid movements of Hange’s hand as it slid down.
The cupboard door rattled in its frame, startling them both.
“Shit!” Levi reached down to where his trousers were slung about his knees. The placement of Hange’s hands, one upon his wrist, the other enclosed around him, kept him rooted to the spot. There was no scraping of wood; no sudden rush of air or light spilled upon them. Perhaps another door further along the corridor had slammed, causing theirs to jolt violently. But no consolation could slow the rapid drumming of Levi’s heart. The thunder of his pulse was deafening; it would drown out the footsteps on the other side of the door. And that’s when they would be caught. It was inevitable. Levi drew in noisy, frantic breaths, desperately willing his heart to slow.
Lips pressed at his nape. Hange’s hand began moving again and Levi’s body nearly caved in on itself. Moist palms slipped against stone. His foot knocked into the buckets. Heat exploded in the pit of his stomach, pooling like molten lava down to where Hange’s fingers were wrapped around him. Each time they pulled back sparks flew like flint on stone. Hange’s chin was buried in the crook of his shoulder, their lips brushing his jawline. A deep flush burned at their touch, trailing upwards to where their breath warmed the skin behind his ear. Levi bit his lip, breaking apart the syllables of Hange’s name. He could feel their smile; lips curving against his neck before they closed around his earlobe. Levi’s head sank into his outstretched arm, his rolled shirt sleeve muffling a low moan.
“Don’t, Levi…” Hange’s whisper was as dark as smoke. Their teeth grazed the shell of Levi’s ear as they sucked the skin clean. Still, their hand worked him in steady, measured strokes. Only, a little quicker now that they had found their rhythm. A thrill ran up Levi’s legs as his muscles tightened. Sweat gathered at his temples, in his hairline, at the back of his neck. He was lost to the fire searing within him; helpless as sweet agony took hold and consumed him. Skin aflame, he pressed his face further into the folds of material and bit down.
Then Hange’s movements ceased altogether. Their tone dropped lower. Pitch black. “Maybe we shouldn’t be doing this after all?”
Levi’s body protested; his skin cried out for contact. He shifted against the wall, turning a fraction to follow their voice. Unexpectedly he felt their fingers clutch his chin, holding his head firmly in place.
“I want you to be louder, Levi. Let me hear you.” This time, when Hange’s teeth sank into his earlobe, it was not entirely playful. Levi gave a little gasp as they pulled back sharply. The sting of his flesh throbbed. “Or I’ll make you put your hands behind your back.”
Their other hand had seized both of his wrists, raising his arms over his head and pressing his hands to the wall. Levi could have easily broken the hold but a weakness had washed over his body. He was a victim to their lips, to their hot breath in his ear. Hange’s other hand slid down to grasp him once more. Hot, open-mouthed kisses branded new marks into his neck.
“H-hange…” Surrender fractured Levi’s voice. He gave in to the heat of their body against his; Hange’s hips gently grinding against him in time with their movements. A low groan escaped his throat as Levi’s head sank back against Hange’s shoulder. They were unrelenting; kissing where he longed to be kissed, touching where he needed their hand to touch, until Levi thought that his legs would give out altogether. ... (Haha, hope you liked it and don't mind that I combined the two! 🖤🖤🖤) Anyone who's enjoying these and is partial to a little not-so-safe-for-work drabble, choose from the Wheel of Prompts here! 👉 Smut Scribbles

I'm calm about this
"Don't leave me alone," he'd asked her, clutching her forearm, eyes boring into hers. Smoke billowed around them, people ran, screamed. Blood painted the walls, the streets, the smell of burnt flesh pierced her nose. This is what hell was like. "Don't leave me here."
He didn't trust himself to be around that. He'd managed to drag himself out of hell, Hange had been on the other side, supporting him every step of the way. She didn't want to leave him alone either, but time was waning.
"You'll be fine," she promised and ran.
***
The worst wasn't that she'd been proved wrong, it was that Levi had believed her. She'd seen the hope in his eyes, hope that he could trust himself to hold back.
That hope was now replaced by a dark void, a mindless hunger.
She was too late. People lay dead around him, drained, massacred. Levi's mouth was painted in gore, his shirt (Hange's shirt) once yellow now red, maroon which would never wash off again. Not from the fabric, not from his conscience. If he ever acquired one again after this.
He looked at Hange. No sign of recognition. This time she was prepared, she drew her knife, didn't resist when he knocked her down and pinned her under his weight (there would be no point).
"Levi," she tried, the knife at his throat. One slice and he'd be writhing on the floor, choking on his own blood. Once, she might have been able to do it but now she couldn't.
Blood dripped down to her face from his bared teeth, his fangs glistening with it. A growl rumbled deep into his throat. A monster will never become human, Hange, someone had once said. Maybe even Levi himself.
She remembered that night they'd spent by each other's side.
Do me a favour. If everything goes wrong, kill me.
She'd said no then. Hange would never kill him. But she'd said that to a sane person, to a human, she hadn't been looking into the eyes of madness with panic seizing her, logic reduced to a shapeless heap at the back of her mind.
"I'm sorry I left you," Hange said to those hollow eyes, voice trembling. Not with fear. Tears threatened to spill but Levi (that thing that had taken over Levi) wouldn't care one bit for her despair. Not anymore. "I'm sorry I let you down."
And she brought the knife firmly to his throat.

Before he can protest further, Levi finds himself drenched in fucking salty water. Hange is splashing merrily around him after dragging him knee deep into the blue plane they had just discovered.
The kids are luckily distracted somewhere further down the beach so they don't hear his obscene swearing when salty, sticky liquid soaks his Survey Corps white pants. The roaring waves and Hange's laughter help to drown his grumbling. Still, he doesn't know why, but he has let Hange pull him into the water and get even wetter.
Waves crash into the shore, they seem higher every minute, or maybe it's just his mind playing tricks. He has never seen such blue wonder before, water to infinity and beyond, no land in sight other than the one behind him.
Hange is still holding his hand tight and when they let go to play with water he feels like something is missing, he's not safe anymore. He looks around, eyes darting towards the distracted kids, then to the shore, then to the open sea and back to Hange.
Their smile, their laughter, their sparkling eyes, everything makes him feel at home, something he never has had after Isabel and Furlan died, maybe ever since his mother died. He grabs their hand back in his, making them jump in surprise, and pulls them towards him in the tightest hug he can manage, head buried in their wet chest, arms locked around their binded torso. After a moment of utter disbelief, Hange melts into his arms, hugging him back, gently stroking his humid hair.
They're tempted to ask the reason behind this sudden show of affection, but then think better of it and decide to just go with the moment. They gently pull him back from the hug, hands cupping his wet face. They comb the raven bangs away from his pale blue eyes and look at him intently. He forgets his anxiety, his worries, the ocean and the sand, the mission, the world. Only Hange remains. Their hands on his cheeks, their eyes in his, bangs flapping around in the salty breeze, goggles pulled back over their head.
Water is splashing all over his uniform, his grey shirt sticks to his chest in the most annoying way and yet he doesn't care. All he sees is Hange and their warm smile, the feel of their skin touching his, the depth of their gaze.
He stands on tiptoes to reach better and kisses them. One, two, three times, just lips on lips. Their smile broadens. Their hands caress his cheeks and jaw, face mere inches from his.
"Pretty."
A whisper hushed in the roaring waves.
He thinks he heard it wrong but they say it again multiple times:
"Pretty. PrettyPrettyPretty."
He blushes deeply at the compliment and tches it away.
They completely ignore him, dismissing him with a chuckle, then press their lips on his.
He melts again.
His arms swing around Hange's neck pulling them closer. He tugs at their ponytail and tastes their salty lips, slightly nibbling the lower one. Their moan drowns in the crashing waves.
As their wet chests rub together, Hange suddenly loses their balance, toppling over Levi and into the salty water.
They emerge seconds later, spluttering and coughing: Levi's curses fly once more into the clear air, Hange is laughing incontrollably. They reach for the thing that made them trip and fall and get out a huge purplish shell from the swirling mix of sand and water.
"Look Levi! Another one!!"
Groaning, Levi repeats the same apprehensive line "Careful Four Eyes, it might be poisonous."
They smile brightly, all teeth:
"Good, I'll keep it!"
They place a quick wet kiss on his cheek and press the shell to their chest hugging it happily, like a child with a new precious toy.
He can't help but chuckle lightly at the sight, warmth spreading once more in his chest, soaking clothes and sand forgotten.
He rises to his feet and holds out a hand for them to take:
"Come on, weirdo, let's get out of here."

This little drabble was inspired by this promt: "They had very different ideas about what a fun time entails."
Hange: Let's do something fun together this afternoon, Levi! l'll surprise you.
*takes him to the amusement park*
Levi: This is definitely not fun.
Hange: Don't worry, it will be. *drags him to the rollercoaster, but even though they ride it several times, with her laughing out loud all the time, he neither laughs nor smiles; he doesn't even scream or flinch and wears a bored expression all the time*
Levi: Next time I'lI decide what we do. That was awful.
--several days later--
*they sit at a table in a tea shop, several little cups in front of them*
Hange: How many types of tea have we tried now? Ten? Fifteen?
Levi: Twelve.
Hange: And this is fun to you? *takes another sip but grimaces*
Levi: I'm having a good time.
Hange: You're not even smiling!
Levi: Well, if you prefer going back to the barracks and start tidying up our rooms-
Hange: *interrupts him frantically and lifts her cup* Oh no, I'm having a blast! More tea, please!
